Job Description/Specification

Position: Warehouse Supervisor (Intra Warehouse)

Department: Operations

Job Summary: This person is responsible for coaching, evaluating and motivating the forklift operators and other

intra warehouse teams to ensure that they work efficiently and effectively at executing their

assigned tasks.

Key Performance Indicators:

100% Accurate Transfers (Assorted and Intra Warehouse)
100% Accurate Transfers (Beverage and Water Production)
100% Accurate Transfers (Raw Material)
100% Accurate Loading of Priority Customers Orders

Performance Criteria:

Supervise the team’s attendance and performance
Achievements in all ISO audits
Mainatin FEFO protocol (First Expire First Out)
Maintain safety protocols avoiding accidents stemming from forklifts or poor product stacking

Responsibilities:

Main duties

Coaching and motivating forklifts operators
Supervising all assigned team members to ensure that team is achieving set standards as well as meeting demands
Establishing and communicating priorities and performance standards to the team.
Consistent and accurate execution of write offs
Preparing and submitting reports
Training personnel in ISO and IMS standards
Support pick team to ensure that order fulfilment process occurs smoothly, monitor activities of pick team inaisles to support pick supervisors in meeting productivity targets.
Supports Warehouse Supervisors in charge of aisle teams to ensure that products are supplied to meet pickingdemand
Organize day-to-day work and assign personnel and forklift operators to maximize man-hour costs
Assist in warehouse checks and reporting faults
Execute Transfers between warehouses
Manage team payroll
Conduct mid and year end performance evaluations of assigned team
Maintain Health and Safety Standards throughout the warehouse operation including management of LPG and CO2 cylinders.
Maintain and address appropriately, breaches of company/department standards/policies
Any other duties to meet the demands of the business

Reporting to: Warehouse Operations Manager, Senior Operations Manager, Head of Operations

Supervise: Forklift Operators and Intra Warehouse team

Interactions: Internally

Picking Supervisors, Aisle Coordinators, Forklift operators,

Recieval Personnel, Sales Representatives, Grounds Crew, Repackaging.

Education: Diploma at a Tertiary Level

Experience:

Diploma in Management Studies or a related discipline supplemented by specialized training in Warehouse / Inventory

Management would be an asset

Five (5) years similar or related working experience, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.
Computer literacy
Experience in managing a team; training, etc.
Loss prevention record.

Requirements

Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, PHP)
Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. PHP) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Node.js)
Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache and NGINX)
Know about systems architecture.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Are thoughtful about product design, with good user experience instincts
Are highly collaborative and you love participating in code reviews and discussions about architecture, or design

Extra Credit

Experience developing with Laravel
Experience with React Native

service, and maintain our range of heavy-duty equipment. Duties include

inspecting engines and equipment, carrying out services, conducting repairs, and

providing routine maintenance to the fleet.

To ensure success as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you should have proven

experience working with heavy machinery, be physically fit, and be able to

troubleshoot issues on the job site.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic Responsibilities:

 Inspecting Tractors for proper performance.

 Diagnosing faults

 Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts.

 Repairing damaged parts.

 Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty Equipment

 Cleaning and servicing of machine attachments

 Performing major repair work when necessary.

 Consulting with other mechanics on smaller jobs.

 Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to management.

Support the business unit by evaluating business objectives, strategic goals and operational targets, and by assisting in driving projects designed to support the fulfilment of such goals.

Partner with business leads to develop tactical plans geared towards achieving the related strategic goals & objectives.
