are seeking the RIGHT individual to
join a leading financial entity as a Branch
Business Development Manager- Santa Cruz.
The RIGHT candidate will:
- Participate
in the company’s sale, marketing and public relations activities.
- Create a
personal sales plan identifying performance target to enhance the business
development.
- Interview
and advise clients on the different financial portfolios that can be used to
achieve their financial goals.
- Negotiate
possible solutions for clients that entity offers against their competitors.
- Generates
and activates agreed investment plans for clients.
- Discuss and
prepare performance updates relating to sales plan with the Team Leader.
- Develop and
maintain a relationship with clients during and after sales transactions.
- Possess
in-depth track record of successful
financial management
- Be able to
sell products and services on behalf of the organization
- Have knowledge
in developing, documenting and executing activity based plans
- Lead the
implementation of the branch sales strategy; ensuring the execution of all
agreed activity based plan
- Maintains a
personal portfolio of high net worth clients[1]
offering this segment a disciplined approach to investing and enhancing their
returns while meeting performance targets
- Drive sales,
marketing, and public relations activities for the address, to meet agreed targets for revenue and market
share
Qualification and Experience
- First Degree
in Management, Finance, Economics or Marketing
- Certified
Financial Planner (CFP) or in pursuit of
certification, or its equivalent
- Licensed by
the Financial Services Commission, or a suitable candidate for licensing
- Minimum of
five (5) years of experience in the direct provision of Financial Advisory
and/or Investment Services
- At least two
(2) years at the supervisory level in a customer service or sales function,
preferably in a financial institution
- Certificate
in Supervisory Management from a recognized institution is an asset
- Training in
a foreign language is an asset
- Experience
in public relations
- Experience
in auditing
Other
Requirements:
- Experience
in generating reports on clients’ accounts for the Client and/or Management as
required
- Experience
in providing coaching and development for all reportees, including the
preparation of individual development plans and IBSC’s to ensure that team
members are engaged and motivated for the duties assigned
- In-depth
knowledge of financial sector instruments, laws, regulations, ethics and
professional jargon
- High level
of proficiency in the use of computers, including databases, scheduling
software, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation programmes
