The RIGHT candidate will:

• Via email to the Sales and Marketing Manager, submit a weekly plan of action on the first business day of each and every week and at the end of each day submit a daily
• Report on achievements made. These reports are Mandatory.
• Arrange appointments and travel to defined geographical areas to sell and to detail medical and pharmaceutical suppliers
• Contact potential customers at hospitals, clinics, doctors' offices, rehab facilities, schools, convenience stores, commissaries, mom/pop shops, laboratories, animal clinics and nursing homes to sell and to detail medical and pharmaceutical products.
• Deliver presentations to doctors, practice staff and nurses in GP surgeries, hospital doctors and pharmacists in the retail sector as it becomes necessary
• Continually build relationships with medical staff and/or purchasing personnel.
• Provide competitive information such as bid situations, pricing data, or bundling arrangements in order to establish negotiated pricing contracts for assigned products.
• Improve product knowledge and sales techniques with in-house training and attending external seminars.

Qualification and Experience

• 5 or more Successful passes in CSEC examinations (including Mathematics, English and at least one Science Subject)
• First Degree in Sales & Marketing, or Medical Administrative Processing is an asset
• Minimum of at least one (2117) year of experience in sales and marketing

Other Requirements:

• Research competitors and provide feedback via email to Sales and Marketing Manager in order to garner market share.
• Maintain and supersede targets set, on weekly, monthly and bimonthly bases as directed.
• Coordinate all issues with clients between sales, service and accounts.
• Collect moneys from clients and disburse receipts.
• Stay informed about the activities of health services in a particular area.
• Participate in any Company’s activities that might require your knowledge/expertise.

The RIGHT candidate must be able to:

·         Prepare payroll year end reports and annual returns of statutory deductions and statement of taxes and salary for respective authorities and individuals

·         Make all special time based payments to employees for special vacation, incentives

·         Ensure that compensation for separated staff members (voluntary/involuntary) are accurately calculated and paid over to affected staff members

·         Maintain proper records of all deductions made and paid on behalf of employees of the Group

·         Ensure the timely and accurate processing of the monthly payroll. Prepares and dispatches pay advices for employees on or by 25th of each month

·         Balance the payroll at the end of each pay period and ensures that the current month’s payroll data is securely maintained for use at the next pay period; and ensures the recovery of salaries paid on behalf of subsidiary companies are processed

·         Meet with Management to discuss and clarify requests for projects, highlight issues and make recommendations to address issues and priorities

·         Write detailed reports and make oral presentations to Management and staff respectively, for monthly, quarterly, or annual reviews

Qualification and Experience:

Duties – include but are not limited to;

·        Fold napkins and polish silverware

·        Replenish condiments (Sugar, salt, pepper, ketchup etc.)

·        Brew coffee and make hot water for teas

·        Greet and seat guests strategically

·        Take orders from guest then communicate them to the necessary channels. (Biller, kitchen, bar Cashier)

·        Serve meals and beverages according to established standards

·        Check IDs before serving alcoholic beverages if in doubt that a guest meets the required age for alcohol consumption

·        Make suggestions and up-sell as much as possible, without being overbearing

Responsibilities – include but are not limited to;

·        Have a sound knowledge of all menu items including; daily specials, preparation methods portion sizes etc.

·        Ensure that all items that are needed to carry out your job is available and sufficiently stocked (eg. Back up linen in the event of a spill)

·        Have a good knowledge of different wines, proper serving techniques and what glass they are served in.
