are seeking the RIGHT individual to
join a leading financial entity as a Medical
Sales Representative.
The RIGHT candidate will:
- Via email to
the Sales and Marketing Manager, submit a weekly plan of action on the first
business day of each and every week and at the end of each day submit a daily
- Report on
achievements made. These reports are Mandatory.
- Arrange
appointments and travel to defined geographical areas to sell and to detail medical
and pharmaceutical suppliers
- Contact
potential customers at hospitals, clinics, doctors' offices, rehab facilities,
schools, convenience stores, commissaries, mom/pop shops, laboratories, animal
clinics and nursing homes to sell and to detail medical and pharmaceutical
products.
- Deliver
presentations to doctors, practice staff and nurses in GP surgeries, hospital doctors
and pharmacists in the retail sector as it becomes necessary
- Continually
build relationships with medical staff and/or purchasing personnel.
- Provide
competitive information such as bid situations, pricing data, or bundling arrangements
in order to establish negotiated pricing contracts for assigned products.
- Improve
product knowledge and sales techniques with in-house training and attending external
seminars.
Qualification and Experience
- 5 or more
Successful passes in CSEC examinations (including Mathematics, English and at
least one Science Subject)
- First Degree
in Sales & Marketing, or Medical Administrative Processing is an asset
- Minimum of at
least one (2117) year of experience in sales and marketing
Other
Requirements:
- Research
competitors and provide feedback via email to Sales and Marketing Manager in order
to garner market share.
- Maintain and
supersede targets set, on weekly, monthly and bimonthly bases as directed.
- Coordinate
all issues with clients between sales, service and accounts.
- Collect
moneys from clients and disburse receipts.
- Stay
informed about the activities of health services in a particular area.
- Participate
in any Company’s activities that might require your knowledge/expertise.
- Must possess
a valid driver’s license and own a motor vehicle
- Any other
duties as assigned from time to time.
- Ability to
work outside of usual working hours to meet targets
