are seeking the RIGHT individual to
join a leading brand as a Lead
Merchandiser.
The RIGHT candidate will:
- Increase Panasonic sales in Jamaica by increasing brand presence at the
Points of Sale and negotiating product floor space.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships (with Purchase Managers,
Owners, Store Managers, marketing personnel etc.)
- Support the development of floor activities: promotions sales floor
displays, public relations, launches etc.
- Follow up on a customer’s needs on a daily basis.
- Ensure that the Panasonic brand is displayed in a suitable way (clean,
with the appropriate P.O.P etc.)
- Provide continuous product training to sales personnel in stores.
- Provide regional Sales Manager and Marketing Department with advertising
and promotion ideas.
- Execute and follow up on consumer promotions
- Collect and analyze competitive pricing information
- Prepare a weekly report of activities accomplished within the week and submit
to both the Regional Manager and Marketing Department.
- Position the brands to ensure overall success
- Complete a quarterly price map using the established format
- Build a professional and friendly relationship with Sales personnel and
Store Manager
Qualification and
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing, Sales, any other
related field.
- Owner of a
reliable motor vehicle
- Owner of a Valid
Driver’s License
- Minimum two (2)
years of experience in a similar capacity

- Good human
relations and interpersonal skills
- Good
organizational and communication skills
- Excellent Time
Management & Problem Solving Skills
- Ability to work
on own initiative with minimum supervision
