the financial industry as LEARNING &
DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
The RIGHT candidate
must be able to:
- Develop and conduct
functional training programmes for major areas identified within the organization.
- Conduct onsite training and observational coaching at branch
addresss as required and monitor transfer of learning.
- Participate in the needs analysis and assessment process, identify
performance gaps and
- proactively recommend and develop
learning solutions to close these gaps.
- Monitor and maintain learning and development records for Team
Members to
- include internal and external training
programmes of career and development plans.
- Monitor and review the progress of trainees utilizing
reinforcement and measurement
- methodologies in partnership with
Managers and provide feedback and support to
- enable the transfer of learning to
performance on the job.
- Assist in the development and implementation of learning
evaluation metrics to assess the impact of learning and development initiatives.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- First Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources,
Education or related
- field.
- Minimum of three (3) years’
experience as a Trainer or Teacher for Adult Learners,
- preferably within a financial
institution.
- Diploma in Teacher Education or
Training Certification would be an asset.
The RIGHT candidate must:
- Have knowledge of Teller Operations, Loan Processing, and Customer
Service Activities.
- Be highly computer literate with proven skills in Microsoft Office
Suite, e-learning/web-based systems. Knowledge
of Learning Systems (SkillSoft, Harvard Manage Mentor etc) will be a distinct
advantage.
- Have high energy, enthusiasm and a motivational training style.
- Possess knowledge and experience in adult learning and development
practice and methods, building and delivering training curriculum,
instructional design, guides, lesson
plans, needs assessment, gap analyses and evaluation.
