person. We are seeking the right candidate to manage the day-to-day operations
of the Human Resource office and drive the administration of human resource
policies, procedures and programs as the HR/Payroll
Manager
The RIGHT
candidate must be able to:
- Direct the collection, calculation, and entering of payroll data.
- Calculate reimbursements, bonuses, overtime and holiday pay.
- Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll and human
resource operations by keeping information confidential.
- Direct the production and issuance of paychecks or electronic
transfers to bank accounts.
- Balance the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational
workshops, establishing personal networks and participating in professional
societies.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as
needed.
- Manage the administration of Human Resource procedures, policies
and programs according to management guidelines.
- Participate in the maintenance of job requirements and job
contents for all positions as necessary.
- Provide information and guidance to staff on human resource and
work related issues.
- Facilitate leave requests and enjob_titlements of staff.
- Record paperwork for new hires and edit existing employee files.
- Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning
employees; following up on work results.
- Monitor and evaluate the current performance management system,
including performance evaluation reports and appraisals as required.
- Communicate employment standards, legislation and labour standards.
- Direct recruitment, orientation and training and record keeping
functions; conduct counselling, disciplinary hearings, exit interviews and investigations
as required.
- Lead staff by establishing an atmosphere of high performance and maintaining
a culture that
emphasizes empowerment, quality and productivity.
Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum of a B.Sc. Degree in Human Resource, Management Studies, Business Administration or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of industrial relations & labour laws
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Human Resource supervisory position.
- Experience in the use of HRM and payroll software.
Other Requirements:
- Must
be highly motivated and an active team player.
- Ability
to interpret, explain, and apply applicable laws, codes, and regulations
to internal policies and procedures.
- Advanced
knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability
to make presentations on behalf of organization and continuously seek ways
to improve the organization’s business structure
- Ability
to work with and through people to establish goals and objectives.
